ARLINGTON, TX – At least one person was killed Saturday as the result of a collision on I-30 involving three passenger vehicles and a semi.
ABC 8 reports that the fatal collision happened on westbound I-30 at Fielder Road shortly before 4 a.m. on May 23.
A Dodge Avenger struck a white sedan, pushing the sedan into an unoccupied vehicle parked on the shoulder. An oncoming semi truck then struck the Avenger as it sat disabled in the traffic lanes.
The force of that collision ejected the Avenger’s passenger onto the roadway. That individual was taken by EMS to an area hospital, where they died.
EMS also transported the Avenger’s driver. We do not know that person’s condition at this time.
The white sedan’s driver suffered minor injuries. The truck’s driver was unhurt.
