HOUSTON, TX – A semi truck fatally struck a pedestrian on Saturday night as that person was attempting to cross the North Freeway, Fox 26 reports.
The fatal Houston truck accident happened in the southbound lanes of the freeway’s 4400 block at about 3:30 a.m. on May 23.
Police say the truck’s driver remained on the scene and cooperated with their investigation. They do not think speed was a factor in the crash.
