SAN ANTONIO, TX – A crash involving a semi-truck and a crane shut down traffic on Loop 1604 in Converse, KENS 5 reports.
Units with the Converse Police Department responded to reports of an incident on 1604 between Lower Seguin Road and Rocket Lane at about 2:45 a.m. this morning.
They say a crane threw a wheel, which struck a semi truck stopped on the side of the road.
The collision caused the truck’s driver to lose consciousness. Authorities do not believe the injury will be fatal, although it is unclear if they took the driver to a hospital.
The crash closed southbound lanes of 1604 for several hours.
