FORT WORTH, TX – A man died in a multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer in the northbound lanes of U.S. 287 early Tuesday morning, the Star-Telegram reports.
According to authorities, the collision occurred near Blue Mound Road around 2:15 am. A single vehicle was involved in an accident, and was blocking one lane of U.S. 287 when the driver of a semi truck stopped to render aid. A third vehicle then collided with the semi truck.
The driver of the third vehicle, 42-year-old Marvin Travis Harper, died at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
