ECTOR COUNTY, TX – A collision at a West 42nd Street intersection involving a semi truck and a passenger vehicle claimed the life of a Mississippi woman last Wednesday night, First Alert 7 reports.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision occurred at the intersection of West 42nd Street and FM 866 around 9 pm. A westbound Nissan Altima reportedly ran a stop sign and collided with a northbound semi truck.
The driver of the Altima, 23-year-old Logan Alicia Brooks of Prentiss, Mississippi, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
